Westlake Village, CA - 4/21/2002 - In a strong defensive battle between two top CIF teams, the game between Westlake and the California Condors went 6 scoreless innings before the Condors eventually went ahead with the winning runs in the top of the 7th to finally win the second round CIF game 2-0.  Westlake's Michelle Rehm retired the first 18 batters by pitching 6 perfect innings before an error allowed the Condors' first runner in the top of the 7th.  This hard fought battle exemplified the strength of the Warriors defense and portrays good things to come for the next few years as Westlake has only 4 seniors and no juniors on the team.

Montrose, CA - 4/17/2002
- The Westlake Warriors, in a stellar defensive battle, allowed only two opposing players to reach second base in defeating the  Crescenta Valley Falcons at Montrose Park.  The Falcons came into this game boasting an undefeated 10-0 Pacific league record in the 2002 season capping a 5 year run of 50-0 in league play.  Today, however, Westlake shut down the Falcons with pinpoint pitching by Michelle Rehm and an unyielding defense.  Westlake advances to the second round of CIF playoffs for the first time in it's history.  They will play California High School Tuesday, May 21st, at Warrior field at Westlake High School at 3:15 p.m.  (Game Photos)

San Gabriel, CA - 4/15/2002 - The Westlake Warriors beat San Gabriel in a one-sided slugfest, 14-0, in the first round of the CIF playoffs and now advance to the second round vs. Crescenta Valley High School on Friday, May 17th, at 3:15pm. Revised Map
